Who is behind Vimba?
Hello, I’m Niamh
I’m an award-winning marketer with over 13 years’ experience leading integrated marketing strategies for government, financial services, and tourism brands across Asia and Europe.
I’m currently undertaking a Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, building on my experience in delivering responsible travel campaigns and destination strategies.
I’ve had the privilege of helping national and regional tourism boards, including Hawai‘i Tourism Authority and Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism, develop strategies that encourage responsible travel, support local businesses, and build long-term resilience.
Earlier in my career, I was awarded Gold for Best Integrated Campaign at the Middle East PR Awards for One Break, Two Cities — a campaign that promoted longer stays and encouraged dispersal to lesser-known regions of Ireland and the UK.
Driven by a belief in tourism’s power to create positive change, I founded Vimba to help destinations and brands deliver lasting value for business, communities, and the environment.
